1) If you are not a TTUS or TTU student, faculty, or staff member, ensure that someone from Texas Tech has added you as a dependent on their account first.

2) Check to be sure that your mobile device meets the minimum requirements.

3) Open the Google Play Store or App Store app on your mobile device.

4) Search for "BlackBerry AtHoc", or tap the link for your operating system below:

• iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/blackberry-athoc/id597971367

5) Download and install the app.

6) Open the BlackBerry AtHoc app.

7) Follow the prompts on your device to set up the app.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to tap the appropriate "allow" options to allow the app to use your location or to send you critical alerts.

When prompted for an organization code, use TTU.

You will receive TechAlert emergency notifications on your mobile device.
