Symptoms
You receive the following message when attempting to add a TechMail functional mailbox account in Outlook for Mac:
Account already exists.
Cause
You are attempting to add the mailbox directly in the Accounts window. A functional mailbox must be added under an existing account.
Resolution
Follow our published instructions for adding a functional mailbox to Outlook for Mac.
Outcome
