Symptoms
When attempting to modify membership of a TechMail distribution list in Microsoft Outlook, you receive the following message:
Changes to the public group membership cannot be saved. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object.
Cause
TechMail distribution lists cannot be managed through Microsoft Outlook.
Resolution
Manage distribution list membership using either Directory Query (built into Windows) or the software Active Directory Users and Computers.
Outcome
You should be able to add or remove objects to or from your distribution list.
