Automated location is not accurate in Skype for Business


You are using Skype for Business while connected to a TTU network (wired or wireless), in which case your physical location is automatically determined for 911 purposes. However, that location is not correct or is slightly inaccurate.


The network configuration affecting E911 services may need adjusted.


1) Contact IT Help Central.

2) IT Help Central will assign a request or incident to administrators of the Unified Communications system for review.


Unified Communications system administrators will coordinate with network administrators to make any necessary adjustments. This will make automated location details as accurate as possible.
