"Email Services" section missing after activating your eRaider account


Cause

Any of the following is a valid reason as to why you cannot activate your TechMail yet:

  • Your account type is that of an applied student
  • You have not yet been accepted to TTU
  • The fact that you have been accepted to TTU is not yet reflected correctly in the Banner database
  • You have incomplete items outstanding in your admissions status

Resolution

Check your application status to see if you have been admitted to Texas Tech University and have no incomplete items outstanding on your application. If it is the same day that you have been accepted, you may need to wait up to 24 hours for the database to reflect this. If you have been accepted for longer than two days and still cannot access your TechMail services, contact IT Help Central.
