Symptoms

When attempting to set your TechMail address, you receive the following message:

Address is limited to characters, numbers, hyphens, and periods. A value is required for custom addresses.

You typed a space or a special character other than a hyphen or period.

Resolution

Use only standard letters, numbers, hyphens, or periods.

Outcome

You will be able to set your TechMail address.
