Cause
The number was entered incorrectly when the account was set up.
Resolution
Please follow the process below to get it corrected.
- Faculty, staff, and student employees: Contact your employment services coordinator (ESC) and inform them that you believe your Social Security number is not correct in the Banner HR records.
- Students: Contact the Office of the Registrar and inform them that you believe your Social Security number is not correct in the Banner Student records.
- Vendors, business partners, and others whose eRaider account was manually authorized: Please see Vendor, research partner, or other user with manually authorized eRaider account cannot reset password or use the "Set-Up Account" feature for troubleshooting information.
Outcome
The Social Security number will be updated in Texas Tech's records systems.
