Error: "Account not found" when changing eRaider password


Symptoms

You receive the following message when attempting to set a new eRaider password using the "Change Password" option:

Cause

The username you typed was not located in the eRaider Account Management System.

TIP: If you are not sure about your username, you may look it up.

Resolution

Ensure that you typed your username correctly and in the proper format. Use your official email address (for example, john.doe@ttu.edu) or ttu\your_eRaider_username (for example, ttu\jdoe). Type any letters in all lowercase.

If you are using the format domain\username, ensure that you are using a backslash, not a forward slash, between the domain name and your username.

NOTE: The "ttu" and backslash in front of the username specifies that your account is on the TTU domain. Accounts on the TTUHSC domain should use the format ttuhsc\username.

Outcome

You have set a new eRaider account password.
