Error: "A password may not be reused within a 365 day period" when changing eRaider password

Symptoms

You receive the following message when attempting to set a new eRaider password:

A password may not be reused within a 365 day period.

Cause

The password you typed matches one of your eRaider passwords used during the past year. According to the eRaider password requirements, passwords from the last year may not be reused.

Resolution

No one at Texas Tech University or from anywhere else should ask for your password.

Review the "Requirements" section below the password fields. Ensure that the password you type meets all of the requirements, including using a password that you have not used during the previous year. Then, try again.

You are able to complete the process of setting a password for your eRaider account.
