Error: "Enter a valid Date of Birth mm/dd/yyyy" when attempting to reset your eRaider password


Symptoms

You receive the following message when attempting to use the "Forgot Password" feature in eRaider:

Enter a valid Date of Birth mm/dd/yyyy

Cause

You must type the date of birth with two digits for the month, two digits for the day, and four digits for the year.

EXAMPLE: To enter the date March 5, 1900, you would type 03/05/1900.

Resolution

No one at Texas Tech University or from anywhere else should ask for your password.

Type the birth date in the format mm/dd/yyyy.

OUTCOME

You will no longer receive the error message.
