Error: "Access is denied" when attempting to change your eRaider password through Windows


You receive the following message when attempting to change your eRaider ( domain) password through Windows:

Access is denied.

You cannot change your eRaider password by updating it directly on the TTU domain through Windows. eRaider passwords must be changed in the eRaider system, and the password will update on the domain automatically.


1) Change your eRaider password by using eRaider Account Manager.

2) Wait at least five minutes for the password to synchronize from the eRaider system to the domain.


You are able to sign in to your computer using the new password.


If you are unable to access eRaider Account Manager due to having no computer access since your password expired, there are some workarounds available.
