Error: "550 5.4.1 remote server is misconfigured. recipient address rejected, access denied. DNS misconfiguration"


After sending an email message from a non-TechMail address to a TechMail recipient, you receive a message similar to the following:

Message not delivered

Your message couldn't be delivered to because the remote server is misconfigured. See technical details below for more information.

The response from the remote server was:

550 5.4.1 []: Recipient address rejected: Access denied []

The email address you used may be invalid.


Check with the intended recipient to ensure that you are using the correct email address.

TechMail users may view their current address through eRaider Account Manager.


You will be able to send the intended email message successfully when using the correct address.
