Cause
The 32-bit version of CCleaner (v5.33.6162) and version 1.07.3191 of CCleaner Cloud were discovered to contain malware.
Resolution
As with all software, please ensure that your usage falls within the licensing terms. For instance, some software may not be licensed for use on TTU-owned devices.
1) Download and install the latest version of CCleaner. CCleaner Cloud users should have received an automatic update.
CAUTION: If you are using CCleaner Cloud, please ensure that your computer is running the latest version.
2) After the software has been updated, run a virus scan using your anti-virus software.

OUTCOME
Malware related to CCleaner is removed.
