Symptoms
You may receive the following message when opening MATLAB:
Your MATLAB license will expire in XX days.
Please contact your system administrator or MathWorks to renew this license.
Cause
This automated message begins two months prior to the expiration of Texas Tech University's license contract for the MATLAB software.
Resolution
You may ignore the message.
The Texas Tech University MATLAB site license renewal is processed annually and will be completed well before the indicated expiration date. Once renewal is completed by TTU, users of MATLAB will no longer receive the renewal message. Until that time, the MATLAB software will continue to provide full functionality and no action is necessary on the part of TTU MATLAB customers.
