You receive the following email message:

Two folders in your mailbox have the same name.

Two folders with the name FOLDER_NAME have been found in your mailbox. Please connect to your mailbox using your Web browser and rename one of the folders. After you rename one folder, your IMAP e-mail application will be able to display both folders.

This error occurs when two folders are created that have the same name.

To resolve the error, sign in to Outlook on the web, right-click one of the duplicate folders, and click Rename.

1) Sign in to Outlook on the web.

2) Click the Folders option to expand it.

3) Right-click on one of the duplicate folders and click Rename to rename it.

OUTCOME

Your email application will be able to display both folders.
