Error: "Enter a valid Date of Birth mm/dd/yyyy" when attempting to look up eRaider username


Symptoms

You receive the following message when attempting to look up your eRaider username:

Enter a valid Date of Birth mm/dd/yyyy

eRaider Find Username page showing a form with an invalid date of birth error message.

Cause

You must type the date of birth with two digits for the month, two digits for the day, and four digits for the year.

EXAMPLE: To enter the date January 5, 1900, you would type 01/05/1900.

Resolution

Type the birth date in the format mm/dd/yyyy:

  1. Use two digits for the month, two for the day, and two for the year.

  2. Ensure that you are putting the month first, then the day, and the year last.

  3. Ensure that you are separating the elements using a forward slash, not a backslash or a hyphen.

Outcome

You are able to look up your eRaider username.
