Error: "The code execution cannot proceed because msvcr100.dll is missing" when opening the ChemDraw application

When opening the ChemDraw application, you receive the following error message:

Resolution

1) Download the ChemDraw installation file from eRaider.

2) In your Downloads folder, open the cdpf16.0.1 file.

3) Click Explore this disc.

4) Open the ThirdParty folder.

5) Open the Microsoft folder.

6) Open the VCRedist folder.

7) Double-click on vcredist_x86.

8) Choose the radio button next to Repair Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable to its original state and click Next.

9) Click Finish.

Outcome

ChemDraw will be repaired to its original state and will run successfully.
