Everything on screen is displaying sideways or upside-down


Symptoms

Everything on your screen is being displayed either sideways or upside-down.

Cause

Your Intel graphics settings are configured to rotate the picture by an angle of either 90, 180, or 270 degrees.

Resolution

If "Graphics Options" is available as a menu choice

  1. Right-click on a blank spot on your Desktop.

  2. Point to Graphic Options > Rotation, and click Normal.

If "Graphics Options" isn't available as a menu choice

  1. Right-click on the desktop.

  2. Choose Graphics Properties.

  3. Click Display Settings.

  4. Change the "Rotation" to 0.

  5. Click Apply, and then click OK.

Outcome

The picture on your screen will be displayed normally.
