When attempting to use the thumbnail feature in BDM, you see the following:

The thumbnail viewer in Banner Document Management (BDM) requires the Microsoft Silverlight plug-in, and the plug-in was not detected on your computer.

If you have administrative privileges on your computer, download and install the latest Silverlight plug-in at http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight.

If you are unable to install the plug-in on your computer, please contact IT Help Central or your departmental IT support representative for further assistance.

Once your computer has the Silverlight plug-in installed, you can use the thumbnail feature in BDM.
