Multiple entries exist for same person in FootPrints Service Core address book


There are multiple possible causes:

  • The person may have more than one PIDM in Banner or more than one eRaider account. This can cause theĀ daily data feed of affiliated persons to include two records for the same individual.
  • One or more of the records may have been manually added. When the automated feed of affiliated persons attempted to discern if an existing record was present in the address book, it was unable to conclusively find a match, so it created a new record.


The duplicate address book records should be consolidated.

Before consolidating FootPrints address book records, consolidate all duplicate PIDMs in Banner, and consolidate duplicate eRaider accounts. If you do not, then consolidating the address book records will only be a temporary fix since Banner and eRaider are the sources of the address book data.
