Unable to save Microsoft Office files


When trying to save files from a Microsoft Office application or from a browser, your computer may display a message such as "Connecting - Trying to connect to:…" and the application may stop responding. You may also experience long boot up times or overall slow performance on your system.



A possible cause is having too many folders housed on your desktop with several files inside of them. Several files on the desktop may also cause this.


Method A

Move folders that are housing several files on your desktop to a different location such as "Documents".

Method B

Move files to other folders that are not housed on the desktop.


You should see improved performance when saving files and when using your system.
