Symptoms
Unable to connect to TTUnet VPN from the network at the Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC)
Cause
The network and firewall configuration between TTU and TTUHSC prohibits the establishment of VPN connections from the TTUHSC network to the TTU network.
Resolution
IT personnel can assist you with possible solutions to access the resources needed for your official Texas Tech business or academic need.
Workaround
Contact the IT help desk for your institution and provide the details of why you are attempting to use a VPN connection. IT personnel may be able to help you find a solution which does not require VPN. For example, if your application requires specific ports to be open in the firewall between TTU and TTUHSC, help desk personnel can guide you to the institution's firewall exception request process.
