Symptoms
You are affiliated with TTUHSC or TTUHSC El Paso, but not with TTUS or TTU. You are unable to sign up for emergency notifications through TechAlert.
Cause
TechAlert is only intended for individuals with TTUS and TTU affiliations. Persons with TTUHSC or TTUHSC El Paso affiliations will be unable to access the system unless they also have an affiliation with TTU or TTUS. For example, if you are a student at TTU and work at TTUHSC, you will be able to sign in because your TTU affiliation gives you access.
Resolution
There is no known resolution at this time. The system is functioning as intended.
Outcome
You are able to access TechAlert if your eRaider account has a TTUS or TTU affiliation.
Workaround
TTUHSC and TTUHSC El Paso each have an emergency alert system called STAT! Alert that you can access for emergency notifications at their respective institutions:
Exceptions for access to TechAlert have been approved for individuals who have regular business on a TTU campus, such as at the Child Development Research Center (CDRC) or Student Wellness Center.
