Unable to print on a network printer


1) Go to your system's printer settings.

2) If icon is faded out, see if "Work Offline" or a similar setting is checked. If so, disable it.

3) If only one person is having a problem, reboot that computer. When multilple people are affected and there is a server involved, reboot the server.

4) Try powering down the printer. Then, power it up again.

5) If the printer is connected directly to the network, make sure its settings are configured for DHCP and that it has a valid IP address.


Connectivity and printing to the network printer in question should be resolved.
