Resolution

Reset the device.

To fix this problem, reset your device using the steps below.

1) Press the * and # keys and continue to hold them. While you are holding them, unplug power to the phone, and then plug it back in. Release the * and # keys.

2) If prompted about erasing all data and configurations, answer Yes. The phone will reset to the default settings.

3) It may take a few moments for the phone to start up. Once it does, press the round button with a dot on it (to the right of the screen), between the up and down arrows (as instructed by the picture on the screen).

4) Press the same button to accept the "Select English" option.

5) If you're using Windows and a USB connection from your CX600 phone to your computer, follow the steps below; otherwise, skip to Step 6.

a) When asked if you have a computer available for setup, choose Yes.
b) Your computer's Skype for Business software should prompt you to type your network credentials. Type your TechMail email address (for example, jane.doe@ttu.edu) as the username and your eRaider password as the password.
c) Once your computer signs you in, skip to Step 7.

6) If you're not using Windows or do not have a USB connection from your CX600 phone to your computer, follow the steps below.

a) When asked if you have a computer available for setup, choose No.
b) When prompted, enter your 10-digit phone number.
c) Enter your conference PIN. If you have forgotten it, or if the one you have doesn't work, you can set a new one.

7) Create a six-digit lock PIN if prompted. You will have to enter it twice. (You'll use this to unlock the phone. This is different from your conferencing PIN.)

8) Select the time zone, date and time formats, and ring tone, if prompted.

NOTE: Your phone will reboot on its own after being idle for 10 minutes in order to update its firmware.
