Error: "Invalid User Information" when attempting to reset eRaider password


Symptoms

When using the Forgot Password feature of eRaider, you receive the following error message after submitting your information:

Cause

The username and date of birth that you entered do not match any account in the eRaider Account Management System (eRAMS).

Resolution

No one at Texas Tech University or from anywhere else should ask for your password.

1) Verify that you are typing the appropriate username with no spaces before or after the username.

TIP: A username is not the same as an email address. For instance, your TechMail address might be john.doe@ttu.edu while your eRaider username may be jdoe.

2) Verify that you are typing the appropriate date of birth.

The month is first, then the day, and then the year.

Make sure that you use two digits for the month, two digits for the day, and four digits for the year.


OUTCOME

You are able to set a new eRaider password.
