Error: "Please add a contact phone number" while attempting to use eRaider services


Symptoms

You receive the following message when attempting to use eRaider services:

Please add a contact phone number

Having an external phone number on file provides your account with additional security.

Some eRaider Web Sign-In sites require an additional layer of security, two-factor authentication, so that even if somebody manages to steal your password, it is not enough to access their application. You can also choose to enable two-factor authentication on your account for all sites by going to the eRaider Account Manager. You will also need this phone number to recover access to your account if you forget your password. Cause

All eRaider accounts must have a verified contact phone number specified.

Resolution

Click the link which reads "Click here to add your phone number". Then, follow through the process to add a phone number.

TIP: If you do not have a phone number to add to your account, please review the alternatives available.

Outcome

You will no longer receive the message "Please add a contact phone number".
