Error: "You must set Contact Information prior to changing your password" in eRaider Account Manager


You receive the following message in eRaider Account Manager when trying to access the eRaider Password screen:

You must set Contact Information prior to changing your password

You are unable to access the screen in eRaider Account Manager to change your password.


On March 12, 2017, the eRaider Account Management System (eRAMS) was upgraded to implement the collection of contact phone numbers for account holders. This contact information will be used to verify account holders during account recovery procedures, and be used for two-factor authentication with some eRaider web-authenticated resources. All eRaider account holders will be required to supply eRAMS with a contact phone number.


No one at Texas Tech University or from anywhere else should ask for your password.
