TechMail sync problems on iPhone or iPad using the native Calendar app


Symptoms

After you set up TechMail on your iPhone or iPad using the native ActiveSync (Exchange) feature built into the operating system, the Calendar app won't update with your appointments/meetings, or you see duplicates of some items.

If the problem is not resolved, continue with the steps below.

CAUTION: If you have added, changed, or deleted items on your mobile device and those changes have not yet been synced to the TechMail servers, those changes will be lost by following the remaining steps. Before proceeding, verify that all changes you have made to your device's calendar are also reflected on your calendar through Outlook on the web. It is also a good idea to have a backup of your entire TechMail mailbox.

2) Edit the account in your mobile device settings to turn off calendar syncing. Then, turn it back on and test to see if the problem is resolved.
