Symptoms
A new faculty or staff member does not have the option to create a new team in Microsoft Teams.
Cause
The ability to create teams is managed by membership in the groups TTU - Faculty, Staff, and Students or TTUS - Staff in ttu.edu Active Directory.
Automated processing does not add employees to TTU - Faculty, Staff, and Students or TTUS - Staff prior to their official start date as specified on their ePAF.
Resolution
Please retry after your HR start date. For example, if your start date is September 1, please retry creating a team after September 1.
