To improve the management of TechMail addresses, the TechMail Address Project was announced to all network site coordinators in November 1998, and the TTU community was invited to submit their input via an online questionnaire. After a great deal of discussion and planning, a TechMail Address Policy was adopted on August 16, 1999.
