Overview of Texas Data Repository (a.k.a. Dataverse) at TTU

Introduction

Texas Data Repository (also known as Dataverse) is a central place to store, access, and share research data at Texas Tech University. The web application TTU uses for Texas Data Repository is Texas Digital Library's Dataverse. Some benefits of using Texas Data Repository include:

  • unified access to your research data across several systems through a web browser
  • share your data with collaborators, including collaborators at other institutions
  • publish your research for other users to access

Access to Texas Data Repository

Anyone can create an Texas Data Repository account by navigating to https://dataverse.tdl.org. If you have an eRaider account, you can create an account with your Texas Tech University affiliation and you will be able to sign in using eRaider credentials. If you do not have an eRaider account, you can create your account using a Gmail account.

TTU faculty will have the ability to upload to the TTU dataverse within Texas Data Repository.
