Changes to the Texas Tech Directory require a day once the update is made in the authoritative source (Banner, etc.). The Directory uses a data feed that is loaded nightly. The type of change that would go to the Directory would probably also get changed into the nightly feed to the eRaider Account Mangement System (eRAMS).
