At Texas Tech University, the Ellucian ILP product facilitates integration between Blackboard Learn and the Banner Student system. ILP automatically adds faculty, staff, and students into the Blackboard courses which correspond to the Banner courses for which they are registered as either students or instructors.

On a typical day, the automated updates from Banner to Blackboard happen within 1-2 minutes. At the beginning of a semester (first week), we can see unusually high volume and it may take up to 2-3 hours for all the events to process.
