Overview of ATLC computer labs, hours of operation, and how to locate them

Frequently confused areas

The ATLC facilities are often confused with other computer labs on campus (TLPDC, college-specific computer labs, etc.). It is important to understand what is meant by "ATLC". Some ATLC computers are located in the basement of the Library and some are located in other areas on campus. University Libraries staff members maintain and control all of the computers on the first floor of the Library building, the mezzanine, and in the stacks. University Libraries hours are available at https://www.depts.ttu.edu/library/about/facility.

ATLC hours and access

ATLC Main (basement of TTU Library building)

When the Library building is closed, ATLC Main may only be accessed by one stairwell and one elevator located inside the vestibule on the west end of the Library. (Look for the Library entrance with two fountains outside.)

ATLC SUB (Student Union Building)

Located in the basement of the SUB and is accessible with current student ID any time the SUB is open. SUB hours are available at https://www.depts.ttu.edu/sub/hours.php.

ATLC West, East, and North

These labs are in the TTU residence halls. See https://www.depts.ttu.edu/itts/labs for more info. These labs are accessible to residents of those halls by current student ID any time the residence halls are open, and to all others (with current student ID) any time the common areas of the residence hall are open to public access. For our customers, the best resource we have found for information about hours for residence hall common areas is a direct phone call to the office of the particular residence hall. The TTU campus operator at 806-742-2011 can connect you directly to residence hall offices that are open.

ATLC Remote Lab

You can access the remote lab 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, unless the systems are undergoing maintenance.

All ATLC lab hours are posted on bulletin boards in each of the ATLC facilities and on the exterior doors on both ends of the Library. Especially during holidays and interim periods, it is important to check both https://www.depts.ttu.edu/itts/hours and https://www.depts.ttu.edu/sub/hours.php to determine the best place to get access to a computer at a particular time.
