NOTE: There is a difference between your eRaider username (jdoe) and your TechMail address (jdoe@ttu.edu, john.doe@ttu.edu, etc.). If the goal is to change your TechMail address, you may do that through eRaider Account Manager.

Changing an eRaider username cannot be done easily and is very time intensive. Changing your username may have adverse affects on your account and your access to IT services. For instance, you could lose access to resources that you access with your eRaider account either temporarily or permanently, depending on the system involved. It is not common to permanently lose access to services, but it is possible under some circumstances. Regardless, requests to rename a username are not advised.
