A personnel action form, or PAF (pronounced "paf"), is a form that provides departments at Texas Tech with a way to initiate personnel actions such as hiring, separating, funding changes, position changes, etc.

PAFs go through an approval process within each department and are submitted to Human Resources where they go through a further approval process. Upon approval, they are entered into the Banner HR records system.

Texas Tech has an online routing process for PAFs, thus making them electronic. Hence, a PAF at Texas Tech is known as an ePAF (electronic personnel action form). This is commonly pronounced "ē-paf".
