The TTU IT Division makes use of cloud-based services for TTU students, faculty, and staff to enhance email, collaboration, and online productivity applications (for example, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). We have partnered with Microsoft and will offer the Microsoft 365 service.

To seamlessly integrate Microsoft's cloud services with existing eRaider accounts, Texas Tech University needs to control Microsoft 365 accounts that end in @ttu.edu. Individuals who had a consumer Microsoft account ending in @ttu.edu prior to December 3, 2012, are required to change it to another account name (@outlook.com, @live.com, @hotmail.com). After that date, the next sign-in to Microsoft services using an @ttu.edu account name requires the account name to be changed. No OneDrive data or other Microsoft services are lost or impacted by the account name change.
