The TTU Ethernet-based LAN runs at speeds of up to either 1 Gbps or 100 Mbps depending upon your location and/or network adapter capabilities.

If your port is set to 1 Gbps, use the "Auto Negotiate" setting in your operating system. If your port is set to 100 Mbps, use the manual setting for "100 Mbps Full Duplex" for offices and general academic areas, and use "Auto Negotiate" if you're in the residence halls.
