How to: Update Adobe Creative Cloud applications on your Mac


Introduction

Open the Creative Cloud app and click Updates > Update all.

Method 1: Using the Creative Cloud app (recommended)

NOTE: This method might only work for individual accounts and not shared/lab workstations.

1) Open the Creative Cloud app and click Updates.

2) Click Update on the Adobe product that you would like to update.

Alternatively, you can also click Update all to update all of your Adobe products at once.

3) Type the username and password of an account on your Mac with administrative rights. Then, click OK.

Method 2: Using the "Help" menu

1) Open one of the Adobe applications.

2) In your Mac's menu bar, click Help. Then, click Updates.

3) Click Updates. Then, click Update on the application.

4) Type the username and password of an account on your Mac with administrative rights. Then, click OK.

5) You may receive a prompt about needing to save your work and close a program. If so, close your currently opened Adobe application and click Continue.

OUTCOME

Your Creative Cloud apps have been updated and can be viewed under "Updated recently".
