How to: Update a meeting in Outlook for Mac


Introduction

Locate the meeting on your calendar and double-click to open it. Modify the options that you want. On the Appointment tab, click Save & Close.

Instructions

1) Open Microsoft Outlook for Mac.

2) Locate and click on the the Calendar button in the bottom left-hand corner of the Outlook window.

3) Locate the meeting on your calendar and double-click to open it.

TIP: If the meeting is scheduled for the weekend, on the Home tab, click Week.

3) Modify the required details of the meeting.

4) On the Appointment tab, click Save & Close to save the modifications.

NOTE: If there are people assigned to attend the meeting you are editing, click Send instead of the "Save & Close" option.

OUTCOME

The details of the meeting will be updated and the intended attendees will be notified of the changes to the meeting.
