1) Open the Symantec Endpoint Protect app. One way to do this is by going to Launchpad and clicking Symantec Endpoint Protection.

2) In your Mac's menu bar, click Symantec Endpoint Protection. Then, choose Uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection.

3) Click Uninstall.

4) If prompted to allow a helper tool to run, type the username and password of an account on your Mac with administrative privileges. Then, click Install Helper.

5) You may be prompted again for credentials to permit Symantec Endpoint Protection to modify a system extension. If so, type the username and password of an account on your Mac with administrative privileges. Then, click OK.

6) Please wait while the software is uninstalled.

7) If you receive a message stating, "You are at risk!", click Finish Setup.

8) Ensure that any open documents and applications are saved. Then, click Restart Now.

Symantec Endpoint Protection has been uninstalled from your Mac.
