How to: Sign a document with Adobe Sign

There are two methods to e-sign a document.

Jump to B: Fill and sign a document

A) Self-signing method

NOTE: This works best if you have been asked to sign a PDF that already has been already configured to be signed digitally.

A1) Open Adobe Sign.

A2) In the Waiting for you menu under "Manage", Click the agreement that you like to sign, and then click View & sign.

A3) Click Start to start entering the required fields or signing the document.

A4) Click Next to jump to the next field. Alternatively, you can directly click on the fields to fill them. After you have filled all the required fields click Click here to sign.

A5) A new dialogue box will open for you to sign. Pick an option and click Apply.

A6) To finish signing the document, click Click to sign.

B) Fill and Sign method

NOTE: This method is best if you have to add custom text like your name, date, location in the PDF and sign it.

B1) From the homepage, select Fill & Sign a document.

B2) Click Add files to add files that you would like to sign. Alternatively, you can drag and drop files. Type an agreement name and click Next.

NOTE: Adobe sign will display the documents in the order that you have selected, if you have multiple documents. You can change the order.

B3) Select your desired input field and fill the document. Alternatively, you can sign the document as is by selecting Sign.

B5) After selecting Sign from the top menu, select your desired signature type and sign the document. After signing click Apply.

B6) You can re-adjust the signature's position and click Done.

Outcome

You will have signed your document and Adobe Sign will show you more options for the signed document.
