How to: Set up an eRaider account after IT support personnel have reset the account

No one at Texas Tech University or from anywhere else should ask for your password.

If you no longer have access to your eRaider account because you do not have a contact phone number specified in the account or you lost access to the contact phone number, IT Help Central can verify your identity and then reset your account by clearing the current contact information and password, requiring you to go through the initial account set-up process again.

Once the account has been reset, you will need to go through the eRaider account setup process as if the account was a new account.

NOTE: If you already had some items activated like enterprise voice (EV) for Unified Communications, or a TechMail mailbox, the account reset will not delete those services. When going through the eRaider set-up process, you will not be required to set up those other services again if they were already set up.

Account setup is complete. Wait up to 30 minutes for your account to be finalized. After waiting 30 minutes, you are able to sign in and access eRaider-authenticated services.
