How to: Retire a knowledge block in ServiceNow when it exists in multiple versions of an article
Instructions
OptionĀ 1
- Identify article(s) with knowledge block inserted.
- Remove knowledge block from the article(s) and republish.
- Republish knowledge block to create a new version.
- Validate article(s) no longer related to new knowledge block version.
- Retire knowledge block.
OptionĀ 2
- Identify the article(s) with the knowledge block inserted.
- Remove the knowledge block from the article(s) and republish.
- Update the "Valid to" date for the knowledge block.
