How to: Reset Calendar on your iPhone or iPad to resolve problems syncing with TechMail


Introduction

Navigate to Settings > Calendar > Accounts. Tap your TechMail account, turn off the toggle for Calendars. Tap Delete from My iPhone, and turn on the toggle for Calendars again.

Instructions

CAUTION: By following these steps, all of your TechMail calendar items will be removed from your device. If you have added, changed, or deleted items on your mobile device and those changes have not yet been synced to the TechMail servers, those changes will be lost by following the remaining steps. Before proceeding, verify that all changes you have made to your device's calendar are also reflected on your calendar at https://outlook.com/ttu.edu. It is also a good idea to have a backup of your entire TechMail mailbox.

1) Open the Settings application.

2) Tap Calendar.

3) Tap Accounts.

4) Tap your TechMail account.

5) Next to "Calendars", slide the switch to the "off" position (to the left).

6) If you are using an iPhone, tap Delete from My iPhone. If you are using an iPad, tap Delete from My iPad.

7) Slide the "Calendars" switch back to the "on" position (to the right).

OUTCOME

Your device will download a new copy of your calendar(s) from the TechMail servers. This may take some time depending on your network connection speed and the number of items on your calendar(s).
