How to: Remove your TechMail account from Outlook for Mac


Instructions

CAUTION: If you have made changes to items in Outlook while offline and those changes have not been synced to Microsoft 365, the changes will be lost when you remove the account from your Mac.

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook if it is not already open.



  2. In your Mac's menu bar, click Outlook and choose Preferences.

    In the Mac menu bar, Outlook has been clicked and in the drop down Preferences is highlighted to be selected

  3. Click Accounts.

    In Preferences Accounts has been highlighted to be clicked

  4. Click once on your TechMail account to select it. Then, in the bottom left-hand corner, click the minus sign ().

    Under accounts, an account has been selected and the minus button at the bottom of the menu is highlighted to be clicked

  5. Click Delete.

    A message pops up asking to verify that you want to delete the account, delete is highlighted to be selected

Outcome

Your TechMail account has been removed from Outlook for Mac.
