How to: Remove saved passwords from Safari


Instructions

1) In your Mac's menu bar, click Safari. Then, choose Settings.

2) Click the Passwords tab. Type the password for your user account and press return on your keyboard.

3) On the right-hand side of the password that you would like to delete, click the information icon (circle with an "i" in the center).

TIP: You can use the search bar to narrow down the list to only websites containing a particular text string.

4) Click Delete Password.

5) Click Delete Password to confirm.

6) To permanently delete the password manually, click Recently Deleted.

7) Check mark the password of your choosing. Then, click Delete.

TIP: If you deleted your password by accident, you can recover it by check marking it and clicking Recover.

8) Click Delete Password to confirm.

Outcome

Your saved password is removed from Safari.
