Instructions
- In your Mac's menu bar, click Safari. Then, choose Settings.
- Click the Passwords tab. Then, choose Open Passwords.
- Type the password for your user account and press return on your keyboard.
- Select the password that you would like to delete, on the top right-hand side, click Edit.
TIP: You can use the search bar to narrow down the list to only websites containing a particular text string. - Click Delete.
- Click Delete Password to confirm.
- To permanently delete the password manually, click Deleted.
- Click the password of your choosing. Then, click Delete.
TIP: If you deleted your password by accident, you can recover it by check marking it and clicking Recover. - Click Delete Password to confirm.
Outcome
Your saved password is removed from Safari.
