How to: Remove a saved Wi-Fi network from your iPhone

A: Forget a network you're currently using

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap Wi-Fi.

  3. Make sure that the switch next to Wi-Fi is in the "on" position (to the right). Then, next to the network that you wish to remove, tap the information icon (circle with an "i" in the center).

  4. Tap Forget This Network.

  5. Tap Forget to confirm.

B: Forget a network you've joined before but aren't currently using

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap Wi-Fi.

  3. Tap Edit.

  4. Next to the network that you wish to remove, swipe to the left. Then, tap Delete.

  5. In the top right-hand corner, tap the blue checkmark icon.

  6. Tap Remove to confirm.

Outcome

Your iPhone no longer attempts to connect to the wireless network that you removed.
