How to: Redirect or back up a folder to OneDrive for Business


Instructions

NOTE: This article assumes that you have synced your OneDrive for Business account to your Windows computer.

1) In the lower left-hand corner search for file explorer and click File Explorer.

2) In the file path, type C:\users\your_eRaider_username and press the Enter key on your keyboard.

3) Right-click on the file that you would like to redirect (e.g., Documents), and choose Properties.

4) Click Location.

5) Click Move.

6) On the left-hand side, click OneDrive - Texas Tech University.

7) Choose the folder that you want to save to in your OneDrive account and click Select Folder.

8) Click OK.

9) Click Yes.

OUTCOME

All files saved in the chosen folder will be moved to the appropriate folder in your OneDrive for Business account.
